- All players please note that the new home ground for the 2007/2008 season will be Powerleague Norbury. Details and map are on the homepage.
- Pre-season training for 2007/2008 season at Hyde Park will start on 21st July 2007 and will take place on Saturday mornings.
- The 2007/2008 Amateur Football Combination
league season begins in
September (Date TBC). City of London will be running three squads this year.
Martin Frankum will be running the 1st team, Richard Birks will be running the 2nd team, and Paul Hibbert
and Mig Farinas will be running
the 3rd team. New players interested in playing this season are most welcome and should contact Martin

- Capo and Ben Livermore are attempting to run all five World Marathon Majors this year in
order to raise money for charity. Please support their bid by donating generously, instructions
on how to donate can be found on their new website www.5in1year.co.uk along with information about the charities they are running for, runner bios and a gallery. As they progress the website will be updated with images and comments
from the runners chronicling their epic attempt!
- Capo has asked for current players comments on whether City Of London should try to run a 4th squad for the 2007/2008 season. Please email mjf@summerssolicitors.co.uk with your comments or suggestions on this issue.
- Current players who are selected to play during the week via the team email or are listed on the Squad page should contact Martin
Frankum (1st Team) on 07957 344 029, Richard Birks (2nd team) on
07800 885 665 or Mig Farinas (3rd team) on 07809 762629 or Paul Hibbert (3rd team co-captain) on 07968 629 546 with any pre-game problems that
could prevent
them from playing. Please contact the above team captains as early as possible with any issues so that
arrangements
can be made to prevent any of the teams from fielding less than 11 players.
- League information and league rules can be found either in the player handbooks or on the
AFC website.
- Match fees for this season are £10 pounds per player for all games. There are no annual subscription fees.
Events
- End season party is held in May following the last game of the season.
- The Club's annual general meeting is held in the summer after the end of each season.
- This year the City of London celebrated its 75th football season with a Inter-club tournement at the
beginning of September which will
hopefully become a regular feature of the club's annual events.
