  • Congratulations to Chris Argyle-Robinson who won First Team Player of the Year for this season, Valerio Lami who won the Second Team Player of the Year award and Tim Chesters who won the Third Team Player of the Year award.
  • At the AGM it was voted that the following would be captains for the season 2009/10:

                                                                     First Team - Mark Fitzgerald

                                                                     Second Team - Carl Read

                                                                     Third Team - Mig Farinas

  • Pre-season training will start on Saturday 25th July 2009 at Battersea Park. Full details to follow.

Club Information

 

  • All players please note that the main home ground for the 2009/2010 season will be Powerleague Catford  (previously Private Banks Sports Ground, Catford), Canadian Avenue, Catford Road, Catford, London, SE6 4SW. Tel: 020 8690 1111. Nearest Stations: Catford and Catford Bridge (both Network Rail, 20 minutes from London Charing Cross/Waterloo East/London Bridge, 2 minutes walk to ground).
  • The 2009/2010 Amateur Football Combination league season begins on 19th September 2009. City of London will be running three squads this year. Mark Fitzgerald will be running the 1st team, Carl Read will be running the 2nd team, and Mig Farinas will be running the 3rd team. New players interested in playing this season are most welcome and should contact Martin Frankum at mjf@summerssolicitors.co.uk.
  • The end of season party is held in May following the last game of the season.
  • The Club's Annual General meeting is held in the summer after the end of each season.
  • Current players who are selected to play during the week via the team email or are listed on the Squad page should contact Mark Fitzgerald(1st Team) on 07818 441 086, Carl Read (2nd team) on 07866 451 052 or Mig Farinas (3rd team) on 07590 079 291 with any pre-game problems that could prevent them from playing. Please contact the above team captains as early as possible with any issues so that arrangements can be made to prevent any of the teams from fielding less than 11 players.
  • League information and league rules can be found either in the player handbooks or on the AFC website.
  • Match fees for this season are £10 pounds per player for all games. There are no annual subscription fees.
